Es común observar una flexión permanente de la columna vertebral, esto en jovenes deportistas no lo podemos permitir, ya que esta flexión vertebral hace que aumente la presión intravertebral lo que puede afectar a los núcleos de crecimiento de la misma vértebra, ocasionando un acuñamiento en las mismas, dando como resultado una cifosis estructurada. La flexión debe ser de cadera, evitaremos flexiones de columna.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;strong&gt;- Acondicionamiento muscular de la zona abdominal y lumbar: &lt;/strong&gt;A nivel muscular debemos tonificar en un principio la musculatura profunda del abdomen, multífidos, musculatura paravertebral, etc. Para trabajar esta musculatura podemos entrenar sobre superficies inestables y con contracciones isométricas.&lt;br /&gt;En la medida de lo posible intentaremos activar el transverso del abdomen al realizar esfuerzos intensos, de este modo activaremos conjuntamente los multífidos, lo que nos proporcionará automáticamente más seguridad en raquis lumbar.
